		<description>I haven&#039;t read Paper since &#039;03... and, interestingly enough, just finished tearing a bunch of my old issues to shreds for a project I&#039;m working on.

While not completely sure Mr. McGinnis is correct, I can definitely say that my own interest waned long ago and I simply haven&#039;t read an issue for comparison since.

It used to be one of the finest publications ever... I&#039;ve no clue what it is now.  But I&#039;m completely willing to take some free samples from the tray.</description>

		<description>Paper lost it&#039;s point of view years ago, and is now just ambling on in the name of trying to make a living. It&#039;s sad, actually. Very out of touch. It was meant to be the voice of &quot;Downtown,&quot; Manhattan downtown specifically... and as Downtown&#039;s value as a place of interest has faded, so has Paper&#039;s relevance as tastemakers and identifiers. The design is excellently executed and the writing is edited well– but none of it relates to any kind of purpose or direction.
